Zoella Sweet Inspirations

Zoella’s Sweet Inspirations collection was the one I have been the most excited for. The scent from the original collection is a standard perfume scent, and although it’s really nice it’s not particularly my cup of tea. The Tuity Fruity range was obviously fruit scented and I have never been personally a fan of fruit scents. But low and behold Zoella brought out the Sweet Inspirations collection that just screamed out my name!

I love sweet scents such as almond, honey, vanilla, marshmallow (you can see where I’m going with this) and so when Zoey announced that the Sweet Inspirations collection was going to be macaroon scented I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!

I only purchased the products that I knew I really wanted and would enjoy using the most. I ordered the Bath Latte shower and bath milk, the Le Fizz bar and the Sugar Dip bath salts. The packaging of these products are ridiculously pretty and straight up my street. Pastel pinks and blues, purple writing, cute swirly patterns and rose gold lids and linings. Perfect! The packaging really is eye catching yet super cute and girly.

I considered buying the Sweet Inspirations Fragranced Body Mist but I tested in it Superdrug and honestly the smell wore off in about 5 minutes. I couldn’t smell it all day and neither could anyone else which was a turn off for me. There’s not really any point in buying a body mist that you can’t even smell. This was a real shame since the body mist from Zoey’s original collection is strong scented and can actually be smelt all day!

I also want to add that these products are cruelty free! It even says “not tested on animals” on the back of each product, which of course is amazing.

Bath Latte – Bath & Shower Milk

The Bath Latte is what I was most excited to try from the Sweet Inspirations collection. I knew I would love the scent considering it is enriched with almond, cacao and honey, and let me tell you, the scent did not disappoint! It was such a lovely, sweet scent that wasn’t too over powering either. The scent still filled the room and left my my skin smelling amazing! You can definitely smell the almond in this!

Another thing that lured me to purchase this product was the fact it was a bath and shower milk. I expected the bath water to feel really creamy but that didn’t really happen. I also thought the honey in this bath and shower milk would leave my skin feeling super creamy and soft. It did make my skin feels soft but not as soft as I would expect for something that is considered a milk and contain honey in it. There wasn’t really any milky texture to the bath water. The bubbles this Bath Latte creates are relatively big and do last a while, I really hate bubbles that dissolve after just a few minutes, is dissolve even the right word to use?

Sugar Dip – Bath Salts

Okay so onto the bath salts. First of all, since these bath salts smell the same as the bath latte they are pretty pointless to use with the bath latte. However, if you want a bath without bubbles this is where these bath salts would come in handy. These are super strong in scent and when poured into the bath the scent does fill the room. The scent is so sweet and quite sickly. It’s a very soothing and relaxing scent. I do love these bath salts but I will only use these on their own, because like I said when paired with the bath latte they were pretty pointless because you already get the scent from the bath latte. The packaging of this product is my favourite out of the whole collection. The colours are beautiful and I feel like the packaging could actually come in use! I thought the cone was to pretty to throw away so i’ve used it to keep my rings in, and it actually looks really cute on my dressing table.
Le Fizz – Fragranced Bath Fizzer

The bath fizzer is also macaroon scented like the other products I have spoke about, so I don’t need to say anything more about the scent. With this you pop a few pieces of the fizz bar into your bath, and guess what happens? It fizzes! I bet you wasn’t expecting that… And that’s pretty much it for the fizz bar.

The packaging recommends popping 4 pieces of the fizz bar ino the bath but I personally think 3 is enough. I probably wouldn’t repurchase this because the fizz bar pieces only fizz for about 5 minutes. I mean, I wasn’t expecting them to fizz for any longer, but when the whole point of a fizz bar is to make the water fizz and give a relaxing feel, a product that only does its job for 5 minutes maximum is a little bit pointless.
I must add, the writing on the back states “THIS IS NOT A FOOD, DO NOT EAT” and I can’t believe this had to be included, however; I am sure there is someone out there who would have attempted to at least taste this fizz bar since it does smell edible. None-the-less, it still tickled me.

As always, I hope you enjoyed this post. I really liked putting this one together. Have any of you tried anything from Zoella’s Sweet Inspirations collection? What did you all think of the macaroon scent? Let me know in the comments. Thank you for reading.
