Hello everyone! Recently I entered a giveaway on the Superdrug Instagram (superdrugloves) to win the Nip & Fab Teen Skin Fix collection. I was so happy to find out that I had won and couldn’t wait to recieved my goodies!
All together I won:
- Breakout Rescue Pads (usually £9.99)
- Zero Shine Moisturiser (usually £9.99)
- Spot Zap (usually £7.99)
*You can buy the kit that includes all 3 products for £21.*
After getting quite a good use out of these products I thought I would review each product for you to let you know what I thought of them.
1. Breakout Rescue Pads
There are 60 pads to use in this little tub and I usually use 2 pads a day, one in the morning after I have washed my face and 1 in the evening after I have taken my makeup off. These pads claim to wipe away pore clogging oil and any dirt.
Each pad is infused with wasabi extract that is supposed to prevent unwanted blemishes and breakouts. These pads left my skin feeling extremelly hydrated and clean, a lot cleaner than I would have thought possible. My face also felt very refreshed too and I do think that these pads are great at removing access dirt.
2. Zero Shine Moisturiser
I really love this moisturiser. It’s really thick which makes it a little bit difficult to spread, but a little bit does go a long way and you don’t need loads to cover your face. This moisturiser is the fastest drying moisturiser I’ve ever used which is so good! I hate waiting for my moisturiser to absorb into my skin, especially when I apply moisturiser before putting makeup on. This moisturiser has the same consistency as a primer and I suppose in some ways it works like a primer due to it helping the control of shininess.
3. Spot Zap
You massage this roller ball to areas of your skin that have blemishes and spots and it is supposed to help reduce spots. Im not sure if it even works as I’ve been applying it for near on three weeks now and haven’t noticed any difference. However; this roller ball is super cooling and very refreshing! When you use it it does feel like it is reacting and actually working as you get quite a tingling sensation.
The scent of these products are quite strong and have a very clean and refreshing smell. I honestly didn’t like the scent when I first smelt it and found it quite overpowering. I guess at first the scent kind of shocked me and then the more I used these products the scent of them grew on me. These products sort of smell like cucumber, or maybe something similar… (as you can tell I really can’t describe scents). Basically, its the type of scent that helps to wake you up in the morning.
I’m going to be perfectly honest with you, I’m still having the same amount of blemishes and breakouts that I did before I began using these 3 products. I was really disappointed but I can’t really complain since I won these and didn’t pay a penny for them. Although I liked all of these products, their main purpose is to rescue teen skin by preventing blemishes and breakouts and considering they didn’t do that, then I can’t really say that these products are worth buying.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and I was so lucky to win these products so a big thank you to Superdrug and Nip & Fab! Have you tried the Teen Skin Fix collection or anything else from Nip & Fab? Let me know in the comments!
