Hey guys! Recently I have been looking for and wanting to try some new skincare products. Specifically oil-free skincare products since I have really oily-skin. That is when I found the Clean & Clear – Moisturiser and Cream Wash and just had to try them. So now I’m going to talk about whether these two products worked well for me or not.
Clean & Clear – Deep Action Cream Wash
I have been loving this cream wash a lot! I don’t normally like cream washes but this one is an exception. After using it my skin feels amazingly clean and I honestly think this cream wash is amazing at deeply cleaning your skin.
This cream wash is really soothing and creamy to use. As it is a cream wash it definitely has a thick consistency when washing your face with it which some people may not like. After using this cream wash my skin feels incredibly clean, soft but a little bit dry probably due to being oil-free, however; if you follow up with the moisturiser this doesn’t become an issue. I use the cream wash day and night and it has appeared to make my skin look and feel a lot heathier. I’ve tried quite a few facial wash products and this one has been the most refreshing of all and it feels like it is actually doing something when you use it.
Clean & Clear – Dual Action Moisturiser
After using the facial wash I then follow up with the Dual Action Moisturiser. This has become my favourite moisturiser! I suffer with really oily skin which can be an absolute nightmare! Especially on my forehead, having oily skin ruins my makeup a lot and my makeup often starts sliding down my face even when I use a primer, which as you can imagine looks disgusting. But this moisturiser has been an absolute life saver. I noticed that it was “oil – free” so I thought maybe this would tackle my problem and it has. My skin is now far less oily and my makeup sits a lot nicer now and lasts much longer.
Not only has this moisturiser tackled my oily skin problem it is by far the most refreshing moisturiser I have ever used. It gives your face a lovely cool and tingly feeling which feels sooo nice and really wakes me up in the morning.
This moisturiser also dries really quickly which is a blessing. Especially in the morning when you’re a bit pushed for time because waiting for a moisturiser to dry before applying your makeup can be an absolute nightmare. Sometimes, I often skip the whole moisturising stage because I have no time to allow it to dry. I’m certainly glad that I’ve found one that dries quickly.
I also think this moisturiser will last me a long time simply because a little goes a long way. You don’t need much of this product to cover your whole face.
This moisturiser is “fragrance free” which is good since I’m not a fan of putting highly fragranced products on my face because they can be really overpowering.
My only critique about this moisturiser is that it claims to “prevent spots and blemishes” which I have found not to be very true.
As always I hope you have enjoyed this post. Have you tried any of these products and if you did, what did you think of them? Let me know! Thank you for reading.
