March Favourites

I tell you what, doing these monthly favourites post make you realise how bloody fast the year goes by doesn’t it! At least Spring is here, I do love Spring, its the perfect time to go out and take photos. The sun often shines, the flowers bloom and the lighting somewhat improves. So that being said, look out for more photography based posts coming soon!

I have been loving quite a few things in March. Let’s get started!

1. Revolution Blush – Now!

Last month I picked this blusher up from Superdrug. I have loved using this blusher throughout March! It’s just so cute and pretty. Look how gorgeous that colour is? This has enlightened my face and made me glow a lot more. This blush has prevented my face from looking so dull. The colour of this blush is just perfect for the Spring and Summer months and I can’t wait to pick up a few of Revolutions other shades. I’m really beginning to love Revolution makeup lately.

You can check my full review of this blusher here.

2. Revolution – Girls on Film Eyeshadow palette

I LOVE this eyeshadow palette! Guys, seriously, its my favourite to date. There are 18 eyeshadows to choose from, 12 are shimmery and 6 are matte. The 9 shades on the left of this palette have been my favourites in particular. The colours are absolutely gorgeous for Spring! I can’t express how much I have loved wearing these shades.

These are the shades that have been my favourite.

3. Revolution lipstick – Make It In the City

More towards the beginning of March I started wearing this lipstick a lot. It’s a pinky/purple shade that I don’t often wear as I’m not a lover of pink lipsticks, however; I had an exception for this one. It is highly pigmented and long lasting! I had this lipstick on for about 6 hours before it needed to be reapplied, I was super pleased with that. Oh, and this lipstick is only £2.50! I really can’t fault this lipstick, it is such good quality, especially at such a low price.

4. L’Oreal Elvive – Shampoo and Conditioner

I have really enjoyed using the L’Oreal Elvive Shampoo and Conditioner during March. Using these made my hair feel so much more healthy and less dry. These gave my hair a beautiful shine and prevented my hair from looking so dull and lifeless. After using these my hair would have a gorgeous glossy feel to it and I found that my hair didn’t get as greasy as quick as it normally does. Plus, they have a beautiful, refreshing scent that can be smelt on your hair all day.

(How annoying is it when your mum puts the bottles in the recycling bin before you’ve had a chance to use them in a featured pic?)

5. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

As you may have noticed I recently wrote a review on this book. This book is about a boy and a girl who meet on top of a bell tower when they are both ready to jump off, not so cute eh? It is definitely one of my favourite books ever! I cried for 2 days because of this book. It hits you so hard and to be honest I wasn’t prepared for this book when I read it. It is so beautiful and the characters, Finch and Violet are adorable. This book allows you to see Finch and Violet’s view of life through both of their perspectives. I will say that it is a very powerful book, but definitely worth a read.

You can read the review I have written about this book here.

6. Treaclemoon Shower Gel – The Honeycomb Secret

This bath and shower gel smells amazing!! It’s probably my favourite shower gel ever. It has a very sickly, sweet scent and it smells so strong! This makes shower time much more pleasurable. It’s a very comforting and relaxing scent. My skin feels beautifully soft after using it and it has a very thick and creamy feel to it. As you can see it is also bright yellow so that’s pretty cool too.

7. Chocolate!!

Now last, but by no means least, this month I have been loving chocolate! (To be honest, when don’t I?) And since it was Easter recently I have eaten a lot of it! It would just be rude not to include chocolate into my March favourites post? I’ve been loving mini eggs in particular! I can tell you I have eaten way too much chocolate than I should have, that’s for sure.

I hope you all had a lovely March and I hope that your April is even better! What have you been loving this month? Thanks for reading x
