Pretty Little Liars – 5 Years Forward

If you have not watched episode 11, series 6 of Pretty Little Liars then I suggest you don’t read this blog. There will be spoilers!

So I just finished watching the newest episode of Pretty Little Liars and to be honest I have very mixed opinions. Of course I love Pretty Little Liars but I’m just not too sure that I like the whole 5 years forward thing. I mean, the girls just still seem like teenagers and seeing them behave like grown ups is just pretty surreal? Or maybe it’s just me who thinks that. That being said I think that Spencer (played by Troian Bellisario) is the only one I feel portrays an older character well.

Another thing I’m not too fond of is how all the girls relationships’ with their partners has changed? No more Spoby? No more Haleb? I can’t say I like that change. I understand that 5 years is a long time and of course relationships change but I would have just preferred if they kept one relationship that we all knew and loved.

I also don’t like how the 5 girls all went through so much together and then just up and left and done their own thing and didn’t keep in touch at all. That just blows my mind. Like, CeCe Drake  / Charlotte DiLaurentis (played by Vanessa Ray) was caught and then the girls just left for college and that was that. A bit scrappy if you ask me.

I like how they have now included Alison (played by Sasha Pieterse) in the intro but I got to be fair I loved it when Aria (played by Lucy Hale) did the Shhhh part.

I guess I was over all disappointed with the episode but I will continue to watch Pretty Little Liars, I have been watching it for five years so why stop now! I just think the new episode was a bit hyped about and didn’t live up to the expectation.

Let me know what you guys think!
